My daughter is 6, she fell over in the grass two days ago and said ow I must have landed on a stinging nettle and there was a little red mark. I didn't think anything of it. Then yesterday she said it was still sore I looked and there was still a red bump. I then thought maybe something had bitten her as a stinging nettle has never left a mark like that the next day. Today it looks a bit bigger and there is a ring of red all around it. Is this something that needs to be seen ? Thanks

If there's a ring of red you may need to get it checked in case it's a tic bite. The ring of red can be a sign of lyme disease.

Draw in pen around it so you can gauge how much bigger its getting.
A pharmacist will be happy to look at it and then say if it needs to be seen by a GP.

Can you post a pic?

I would be concerned about Lymes but those rashes are usually pretty obvious. Like a bulls eyes rash
