Oral thrush 2 year old

Help! My toddler has started using a preventer inhaler. I was told it could cause oral thrush. We're not even 2 days in and tonight at bedtime I noticed he has a white coating on his tongue even though we've been brushing teeth after use as advised.

He also finished a course of antibiotics 2.5 weeks ago. I've been adding biokult sachets for infants in his milk every day since first taking antibiotics. He has a soother at night and in the car (we're moving house next week and they're staying until DS is settled into new home and nursery). I'm really fatigued ATM as also have 9 week old who also has a cough and is bunged up.

Can my baby catch thrush from my eldest? What's the best treatment for oral thrush? What can I do to prevent it coming back and please tell me when will I catch a break?! Feeling a tad frazzled.

I will contact my doctor tomorrow but I'm so frustrated with my surgery as you have to make queries online and you can only fill.in the form during surgery hours and sometimes the system closes because they're too busy and then you are invited to call but if you do the phone cuts off. This was my experience earlier this week. Totally bonkers.
