Is diarrhea finished?

Hi
Apologies for tmi!
Lo (12 months) has had diarrhea for a week. Its been pouring out like water. Since yesterday they've become like a thick paste and she's having to push to get it out. One has come out of her nappy cos there was so much.
Is this still diarrhea or should she be ok to go to nursery?

Weve had a bug two weeks ago. Sickness lasted a day and since then we've had runny nappies. We are down to one peanut butter consistency one per day which leaks out of the nappy but nursery sent him home with it. It's annoying as I'm sure the bug has gone it's just his gut adjusting. He's been out of nursery for 2 weeks now even though his vomiting stopped after 12 hours. It's the icing on the 2020-2021 childcare cake Hmm

Oh my goodness this is us too but we are sooner in and I just know nursery will send her home. I only went back to work last week and she has had one day in nursery Sad

As a childminder I wouldn't accept a nappy like this. D+V policies are usually 48 hours clear of the last incident of diarrhoea/vomiting. Keep off tomorrow and call the nursery to confirm their policy if your child is well in themselves

Thanks ladies. Think she's staying off 😔. I desperately need to get her settled before I go back to work next week. I just wish I knew when it would definitely end. The peanut butter consistency sums it up perfectly.
