Protein in child's urine

LifesTooShortYOLO · 05/08/2021 14:31

DS did a urine sample today and it has come back with protein in his urine.
I'm waiting for a call from the doctor but in the mean time driving myself mad with worry googling things.
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this please and what the cause was?
Thank you

It depends a little bit on the context, why the test was being done, and how much protein, but this is very commonly just an incidental finding rather than meaning anything at all. If something is going on can be monitored over time, or further tests done.
