Dd 8 has had a rash on her back for about 4 days it’s not got any worse but does not appear to be getting better either it’s very dry, raised and angry looking I thought heat rash but piriton and Aveno have done nothing. She says it’s itchy and stings. I am awaiting gp to open but wondered if anyone here had any ideas in meantime?

How much Piriton have you given her so far?

New soap/ washing detergent/softener?

5ml 3x a day. no changes to anything that I can think of it’s very strange but it had been so hot and she sleeps on her back which is why I thought heat rash but it’s considerably cooler now so I’m not so sure.

My son has same thing. Sent pics to GP. He thinks its either folliculitis or heat / sweat rash.
My sons seems to get redder as he gets hotter.
Hes got it on his back and a small patch on his chest.
Weve been given antibiotics, got to give him an antihistamine a day. Wash and dry the areas daily etc if sweaty.
