My daughter has had a rash since last Sunday evening (Just over a week now)
It's along the back of her neck and upper back, front of her neck and chest and occasionally appears across her shoulders, arms and face.
When she's in the bath it really flares up across her back and chest and almost looks like hives. Even when I've used clear water to wash her on a morning it seems to flare up (although not as angrily as it does in the bath). I've been giving her piriton over the weekend but doesn't seem to be going away.
I called the GP this morning but unfortunately don't have any appointments for the day and to try again tomorrow (was on the phone waiting in a queue for nearly an hour from when they opened so I'm not sure I'll get through in time tomorrow.)
Just to add, she doesn't seem bothered about the rash at all, only gets grumpy with me when I use moisturiser specific for skin conditions. Her mood seems normal for her and her age (18 months)
Any recommendations on what the rash could be and any creams I could use for her skin until she gets seen by a gp?
