Yesterday I noticed my little boy had a bit of a croaky voice and runny nose , he was of his food s bit but was still running around and playing (I though the heat may have been why he was of his food )

He then woke up during the night with a cough that sounds just like the croup cough, he eventually calmed down , went back to sleep but woke a few hours later with same cough (no temperature)

He was fine this morning, playing etc and ate some of his breakfast, I put him down for his nap , he slept fine but then woke up coughing, crying and got himself in a state , I managed to calm him agree about 15 mins (he had the barking cough again)

He still doesn't have a temperature, and is a bit happier now
Should I ring 111/doctors ? His breathing etc is fine, it's just when he wakes up he gets himself in a state

I tried the steaming bathroom which didn't calm him , but standing by back door helped him calm down

It gets worse at night so it might get bad again tonight, I would definitely talk to a doctor today.

If you fill the bathroom up with steam, then go outside to cold air afterwards, that helps, but the only thing that really helps here is a nebuliser. Croup is tough. I hope he gets better soon.
