My LG has had diarrhoea for 3 days now.
Today she has had 9 poos all bright yellow and really runny.

I've been to the doctor and he's put it down to a viral infection but it seems so excessive...
She has been in bed since 8 and has been up twice already because she's pooed in her sleep.

The doctor said it could last up to 7 days but that seems like a long time for her to be pooing this many times. ..

Have any of your babies had bad diarrhoea?
How long did it last?

Ita worrying me a bit..

I would ask the pharmacist about probiotics - our paediatrician explained that when babies and toddlers have diarrhoea they flush out all their good bacteria which then prolongs the diarrhoea.
Hope she is better soon.

My baby had this at 5 months. 16 poos in 1 day was his record lol. GP said it would last 48hrs but it lasted 2 weeks! Was also told good bacteria is flushed out so diarrhoea lasts longer. My boy was fine, just a bit grumpy and ended up with a pretty horrid nappy rash that needed 3 prescribed creams to clear up. I was worried too but your girl will feel better soon x
