Finger bother

My 11 year old son has complained about a sore finger. I looked it it just now and it looks infected. I’m just ready to take him to the chemist to get their opinion. He’s feeling fine in himself, it’s just sore to touch. He’s panicking as he plays the bagpipes and he’s got a lesson tomorrow.

Soak in very warm salty water and that will pop. I'd also cover it with Savlon and a plaster to keep it soft.should be fine in a day or two of you keep up the soaking 3x a day

Magnesium sulphate which you get in a small tub, like a paste. Chemists will have it. Draws out the pus. Used it a couple of times on my kids and it works great 👍
