Toddler with watery diarrhoea

I’m being an anxious mum, partly because I hate gastric illnesses with a passion!

DS 18 mths had watery diarrhoea this morning and again this afternoon. He’s definitely under the weather, a bit whiny and clingy and tired out, but also ate his lunch and some breakfast and has been playing though without his usual engagement.

Tomorrow's nursery is out, obv, but I’m worried about Friday (his next nursery day and my next work day). Also I want to stop it from spreading to the rest of the family.

Anyone got any insights on how long it might last, what precautions I should take, cleaning I should do etc? Google is a bit vague on the subject. He’s still breastfed and has drunk a lot of water today so hydration isn’t a worry.

TIA
