Lump in penis

My ds aged 12 showed me his penis tonight has a lump in it. There's no redness or spot or anything it just is a lump below the skin. He says it's sore but there is no inflammation there. I don't suppose anyone has any idea what it is? I will take him to GP after the weekend but just wondered what it could be!

No, it's not something on top of the skin. It's beneath the skin, the size of maybe a pea. I'm not describing it very well. It's maybe more of a swelling than a movable lump. Thanks anyway takeitonthechin

Hi yes the doctor said it was just a fleshy mass that would disappear on its own and really common
