Low white blood cells

I'm trying not to panic but my son has just had a blood test and his white blood cell count is very low - the GP is asking for more tests.

For background info, he had very low iron recently too and is under dietician care as he has ASD so is reluctant to eat many food groups.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, dd had very low WBC with a lot of other concerning symptoms. They scheduled another blood test after 6 weeks and everything was fine. I panicked for the whole six weeks so I know how you must feel, but everything was okay in the end. It doesn't always mean the worst.
