Chickenpox?

My 11yr old developed these spots on Sunday on his back and front with a couple on his arms.

He had chickenpox at 5yrs and they don't look exactly like them but he's developed more today on his legs.
Some have whiteheads and some just red and flat.
Some could be midge bites from going to a relatives on Saturday as his dad has a few, but surely they wouldn't have more now!
I don't want to keep him off school if I don't need to but then I can risk him going in.
Would a pharmacist be able to diagnose?

Could anyone advise?

When chickenpox is contracted by a person for the second time the rash may be very sparse on the body - just a few here and there. Are they itchy? If they blister they are definitely chickenpox. If not, like you said they may just be bites. If he’s presenting with other symptoms then contact your GP or call 111 for advice. Hope this helps.
