I didn’t think car sickness was supposed to start until they’re 2, but my 18 month old has started suffering. It’s so bad, so quickly that we’ve had some awful trips, and it’s making us not want to go anywhere. We’ve gut a day trio coming up. I’m planning to:
- turn car seat forewords
- window open
- music to distract them
- I’m going to try and squeeze in between the two car seats in the back to distract/hold a sick bag
-towel over car seat
- sickness bands. I’ve found them for use for 2+, so close enough for it being worth a try
- I heard ginger is good, but hard to get in at this age. I’m going to try DC with ginger biscuits, but do I get them to eat them before or during the journey?
Any other tips for helping my poor little one not feel so bad and make the situation better if they are sick?
