Thick white coating on tongue...

My 13 DS has a thick white coating all over his tongue. He has had a thin white coating before but at the moment his entire tongue is white.

He has braces. I was wondering if his oral hygiene is to blame or it it's something else.

Any advice?

Sounds like thrush

Yeah, sounds like oral thrush. Think he needs to visit GP or Pharmacist for advice/treatment
