My 2 year old seems to have all the symptoms of hayfever sneezing runny nose watery eyes. Is there anything I can give her? Kids medicines such as piriton liquid say you need to be age 6 and over. Getting to speak to a doctor seems impossible at the minute. Thanks

Speak to the pharmacist? My dc has been taking antihistamine since before even 1 year old for allergy, prescribed by the doctor.

You can give Piriton syrup over 1 years of age.

My 2 year old has been having it daily the last week and his nursery said a lot of kids are suffering at the moment. Think the pollen count is high

Absolutely speak with pharmacist. I also agree with Piriton (chlorphenamine) being from 1 year - just looked at my bottle. Piriteze (cetirizine) is 6+.

Thanks I’ll have a look, just been to 2 different pharmacies, no pharmacist available only ordinary staff said they don’t have anything only piriton for 6 plus. Argh. Will keep trying

I think Piriton should be available on the shelf in supermarkets/ tesco express etc too. I hope you find some soon, as hayfever is miserable.

I’m currently giving this to my 2.5 year old DD who is really suffering at the moment - think we got it in Morrison’s?
