Hayfever - worse indoors?

My daughter has just come home from school. Her nose was streaming most of the day. She has hayfever and takes an antihistamine which usually works quite well but seemed to be of no help today. Strangely her symptoms were much worse inside. Has anyone else ever found this? She is in the middle of end of year exams. I'm about to go out and get her a nasal spray. Any other tips? Thanks.

Could she be allergic to dust? Was the window open so pollen could have got inside? My son has hayfever, he has to shower including washing his hair every time he comes in, to wash the pollen away. Saline nose drops seem to help a little.
