Hay fever advice for 11.5 mo dd

My DD 11.5 months is suffering very badly with hay fever (I think). She has streaming eyes, is sneezing and has a permanently runny nose which has started to leave a red rash around her nose and mouth. We are trying to wipe it with a tissue regularly but it is constant. Does anyone have any advice please about what medication she can take etc? Thanks

As she's under 1 year you'd need a gp to prescribe something (piriton is from age 1 but can cause drowsiness)

Same with my 18mo DS who also has eczema and food allergies.
Apparently grass pollen is high right now.
We've been keeping him inside where we can, bath every evening, vaseline inside the nose, Piriton (GP prescribed as he gets hives a lot), keeping house windows closed, Dyson purifier on and not drying the clothes outside.

She can have Piriton twice a day, but as a previous posted said you need to get it from the pharmacy for under 1s. From age 1 she can also have cetirizine. It's worh making sure her bedroom always has the windows and door closed to reduce any pollen in the room and dont dry her clothes or bedding outside as it will get pollen on it. When she comes in from playing outside make sure to give her hands and face a wash to get any pollen off them and change her clothes if you can (a shower is ideal as can wash her hair but not always practical!). A bit of vaseline under her nose can help protect the skin.
