Sick at night only

Hello, I have a 3 year old who has been sick with vomiting and diarrhea on and off, only at night/evening for 13 days. He never had a fever, I’ve noticed a minor cough randomly, but otherwise he acts completely normal during the day. Has anyone had a similar experience with their kids, and if so what was it and how long did it last?

I wonder if it's a food sensitivity? They can just come on suddenly.I'd be looking at his diet and watching it....maybe try changing it and seeing if it affects.
