So my son was born 9lbs 11 and he had his 9 month check the other day he was just over a stone and half.
He's following his chart in his red book and wearing 9-12 month/12-18 (for small sizing shops). He never got measured for his length but they never did when he was a newborn!
I'm not overly worried as he's fitting in his age range and following the chart but when I see him next to one year olds he looks bigger and also had some comments 'fat man' which I HATE!!!!

Just looking for anyone who's baby was the same weight at 9 months

My first was enormous- born on 75th centile and ended up on the 98th by 6 weeks (and he was ebf so definitely not over feeding). He always looked huuuge and needed the next size up in clothes! Don't worry about it - mine is 4yo now and totally slimmed down as a toddler. Ignore any nasty comments - that just shows how pathetic some people are! I remember taking mine to the GP at about 9mo and she said she loved seeing babies with chubby rolls and declared him "perfect". I'm sure yours is the same.
