3rd baby vaccinations - one month late - is this a problem?

Hi there,

My baby is 4 and a half months. She was due her 3rd set of baby vaccinations two weeks ago but we were on holiday - the nurse had said that would be fine. However, now my surgery has no availability to administer her 3rd set until 17th June, which is a whole month later than they were due. Do any nurses or experts know if this puts her at risk (and should we push to get them done elsewhere, where there is availability as I know there are some Saturday surgeries near-ish to us), or is it fine to stick to this booked date? I definitely do not want to put her at risk by being late with the vaccines.

Thank you for your help

Don't worry.
Ds had his first injections at the right time, 2nd set of injections a month late and his third injections at 12 months, which then meant his MMR was delayed to 15 months.

That was because he had constant ear infections that sent his temperature up and if his temperature wasn't up, he was on antibiotics and they didn't want to do them in that situation.
That was the first time his temperature had been down for a whole week.

The only risk is that they catch the illness in the period where they're not covered-but for the third injection they're fairly well covered anyway, so don't worry.

Has she had her rotavirus vaccine? That has to be given by 15 weeks.

Sorry to bother you after all this time-just wondering if you stuck to your original date (one month late). This exact thing has just happened to me and now I'm nervous. Many thanks im advance OP x
