4 month old & diarrhea

My 16 week old DD started with diarrhoea on Sunday night. She was previously constipated on and off, which I put down to gaviscon she is prescribed. Last Wednesday we could not get the gaviscon and her doctor prescribed carobel. On Friday she started with runny nappies but they weren't diarrhea, just very runny and unusual for her, she didn't have any dirty nappies on Saturday and then on Sunday night the diarrhea started. Some days she has had 6 dirty nappies, some only 3 but she hasnt had a normal stool for almost a week now. It's mostly watery with the little seeds in which I believe is undigested milk. She seems to often have the diarrhea in between feeds. She is taking her milk fine, has no temperature and otherwise seems OK. I rang my GP for advice who said its probably a bug but I'm not sure as she doesn't have any other symptoms. She has started teething, she is drooling alot and constantly has her hands in her mouth, so I am wondering if it is likely to be teething related diarrhea or caused by the carobel which I stopped on Monday? Any advice would be appreciated. Her weight gain isn't great, she had dropped to 20th percentile last time she was weighed so I am worried she isn't absorbing very much nutrients at the moment. TIA.
