My daughter is 4 and both me and my husband have started to notice her breath has a rotten smell we brush her teeth and she drinks well. I don't know if i take her to the doctors or dentist to see what it could be..

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Is she unwell? My LO had bad breath and ended up being tonsillitis

No she is fine in herself we have noticed it for a few weeks..

Check inside her mouth incase any swollen gums etc
I would go to a dentist first see what they can find/advise, failing that docs

I will do thank you. Her teeth don't bleed when I brush them..

Allergies? My children have hay fever, and have bad breath at this time of year from post-nasal drip and mouth-breathing because their noses are stuffy. Piriton helps.

She doesn't show any other symptoms for allergies. Her nose isn't runny or her eyes not itchy or she doesn't sneeze..

This happened to a child I know. Turned out they had stuck a small object up their nose and the smell was the infection round about it.

I don't think its that as she would say if she had out something up her nose my 2year old is a different matter she is cheeky and something she would do Grin
