So long story short, my daughter came off her bike last weekend (she was wearing a helmet but somehow face planted and the helmet was forced up), vey nasty gashes on her forehead which have been stuck together with steri strips. We took them off yesterday as per doctor's advice and they look like they are healing up quite nicely but one of them is quite indented (depressed) I am not sure if this is something that will get better over time or if she'll have a permanent indented scar. I just wondered if anyone had tried using silicon stips on an indented scar and had any success or if they only work on the raised ones? We have been told about wearing high factor sun cream and a hat which we will of course do as well. I'd be so grateful for any insights!
