21 month old - coughing fit every night

Hi!
So that's it! He just has one coughing fit in the middle of the night (the odd cough here and there in the day). Not a dry cough. He also has suddenly developed some sort of eczema. This has all been going on for 17 days now! It started after a cold (after he started nursery).

We have ordered Eco-egg for washing, Bioskin spray, Bioskin breakout, dr said virus and said to use Calpol - and gave him an inhaler. Dr said he is wheezy when he checked his chest and back.

Might try dairy free diet for two weeks. But where do I start with that? To make sure he gets all he needs? Anyone had anything like this before?

Just in case anyone has the same problem and wondering what happened...

I went to the dr who said she is wheezy and then gave her an inhaler. I don't think she really needs an inhaler though 🧐 It is now Day 21 and she is still coughing a little throughout the day and having a coughing fit in the night. It's not a dry wheezy cough (even though the dr can hear wheezy breathing when she listens to her chest & back) + she is often sleeping through the coughing so not sure what help an inhaler will do apart from wake her up and upset her. Not sure how many days before I should call again.
