DS has stubbed his toe - painful and bruising around the base of the toe. He's hobbling around on it.
Is this worthy of a A&E trip? Annoyingly we don't have a minor injuries nearby. I googled it and most websites implied to just strap it to the toe next door, but to be more cautious with a child's toe?
I don't want to ignore it if we shouldn't (I broke a toe years ago and it took several months to stop being sore!) but likewise don't want to waste the time of A&E if it's unnecessary.
Any ideas? I'll attach pics of the bruising
