Hi,

My daughter is currently being potty trained doing so well with wee's but now stoped pooing as often. She normally would go everyday before she was potty trained now it's every other day or more.
She's been given sachets for constipation, iv upped her fruits and fibre and water intake,
She just seems to be holding it in. I feel iv tried everything. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Hi my son starting holding in his poo and also had sachets for constipation, we decided to take the pressure off and stick to pull ups until he was a little more inclined to do it on the potty. He was fine out of pull ups for a wee, but we had to revert back to poos in his pull-up which we put on when only when he wanted to poo then changed him back until his pants. He eventually at his own pace decided to poo on the potty/toilet but we did find trying to coax him into doing this made him withhold his poo and it became an ordeal for him so we backed off a bit. The more he held on the more constipated he got. Hope this helps, it certainly isn’t easy.
