Travel sickness tips?

Hey - have an 8YO who has terrible sickness. He says the travel bands work best but I've heard of an 'old wives tale' which genuinely works - isit newspapers under the booster seat?

I can't remember but if anyone's got any TOP TIPS I'm all ears 👂

Living in London & only UK holidays means lengthy journeys in the car 😖 my 2YO got traumatised last time he was sick so my anxieties through the roof 😂😂

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Antihistamines work for me (specifically cetirizine) not sure if it's placebo effect but I take 1 before travelling that day and no sickness. I've suffered with it since being a child and nothing else works (bands, those chalky tablets etc)
