Absence seizures

Ds2 is 14 he collapsed this morning he was at his sisters house she said twice he went down and he eyes went separate ways and she has to tap his face to bring him round.went to hospital found nothing wrong but hes got to see someone incase he has absence seizures.but his dad has epilepsy.now im worried as hes non verbal so cant tell me anything.

I've got epilepsy... mainly tonic clonic & absence seizures caused by photosensitivity. (Triggers include flickering light, strobe lights, strong patterns, jerky camera work etc).
Your son should see a Neurologist & have a test called an EEG to see if he has epilepsy.
His sister should write down what happened which you can then give to the Neurologist as witness accounts are important in diagnosis.
For example how long was he unconscious for, was he very confused after he came round, did he wet himself at the time etc.

Hi sister told the ambulance and hospital what happend to him.he did not wet his self as he has special needs and in pads. Was only a few seconds he was out of it.they told her to video if he had anymore.
