Odd bruising

DD14 has just noticed a bruise on her arm/elbow which goes all the way round the elbow like a ring but which doesn't cover the actual elbow itself. She says it doesn't hurt and has no idea when she could have hurt herself. We've poked and prodded and she can't feel anything out of the ordinary. Hand and fingers not tingling etc. Do we leave it or does it need checking out?

Has she got any other bruises on her other limbs or body?
It looks like significant bruising for her not to know or feel a it being banged off something.
I think I'd be concerned if she has more bruises on her body then she may need to be seen by the GP. If not then I would personally just make sure it goes away and she doesn't get anymore in the next few days.

Send a photo to the GP.

I would want to speak to someone about this. As previous posters have said to contact GP. I bruise a lot on all limbs when low in iron so could be that. Best to make sure.
