panicked about lead in mega bloks

I recently bought a set of mega bloks (60 pieces first builders), and my 1 yrs old baby has been playing with them almost all day for a few months, she always put them in her mouth because of teething. I just came across some articles regarding lead level exceeding regulated amount in them and got panicked. I am normally a very cautious mum but this time didn't check anything when purchasing it because I thought it was a popular brand. I hate to think that I might put my little kid in danger. Any one has done any research on this or has any advice? Thank you so so much!

It's entirely likely any batches that exceeded the lead limits were removed from sale and a recall put in place. If there are reports online about this product it should also state the batch code(s) of the products affected and countries of sale.
I have done a quick search and it looks as though this issue was in the US and Canada in 2007. Standards, even in the UK and Europe, have become more strict over in more recent years so it is entirely likely the current batch of this product is completely safe and complies to new and more stringent requirements.

They are made by one of the biggest toy companies in the world. They will have done a recall if needed and will have checked and checked again to make sure they are safe.
Unless these are secondhand old ones you have they will be ok.
