15 year old spots

Hi my dd is coming up to 15 & is suffering with spots across her shoulders she has them on her face but her back can be very inflammed
The Dr has prescribed Duac Gel has anyone had any experience with this product & their teen pleas e?

I used it as a teen several times. It wasn't that effective for me but seems to be the first thing they always prescribe. Use it very sparingly and only on the spotty areas as it can make them really dry, and it WILL bleach bedding / clothes / towels so be prepared for that using old or white ones.
Other topical stuff was more useful - epiduo & zineryt.
Then I was prescribed courses of antibiotics which were ridiculously long and did nothing but upset my bowels.
Eventually myself and all my siblings used roaccutane though and I wish I'd done it years earlier to stop any scarring.
