Slightly raised INR & PT 6 month old

Long story short I carry haemophilia but my 6mo is unaffected (tested with maternal blood sampling when pregnant and a CVS). My son developed a speckled non-blanching rash on his leg today so I took him to A&E

They had to repeat bloods twice and have told me that his INR and PT are slightly raised but his APTT is fine. They are not suggesting he does in fact have the clotting disorder I carry but will discuss him with the haematology team tomorrow.

He’s happy and fine in himself otherwise.

Does anyone have experience of this? I know it’s a long shot but mumsnet can often come up trumps.

I’ve just come back to answer my own post in case anyone posts something similar in the future.

So traumatically the bloods were repeated today. All completely normal. Have spoken to my haematologist and apparently this is quite common and can be due to the traumatic nature of taking the bloods so lead to an alternation in how the blood reacted in the test tubes which have particular agents in them. Very relieved 😅
