Never used that. How old is your child? My 8 year old had a few nasty looking ones for over a year . I have been spraying colloidal silver on them since January and most have gone. It wasn’t instant it took a couple of months.

Sorry Its called imiquimod. I'm just so fed up with treating these things and nothing seems to work. My daughter is nearly 3....where can I get that from? Also what do they look like when they are about to disappear? A couple look like they have dried out but I heard they are meant to go angry looking before they go?

Before they disappear some of them got huge and you can see the puss in the centre then they scab over and decrease. I have seen some smaller ones just dry up and go quickly. I got the silver spray on Amazon. Her doctor also recommended salactol from boots which was cheap but it smelt so toxic I didn’t use it.

OK thank you! I am at my wits end with these things!!

I think the body has to get rid of them itself. I tried everything on my DDs - eventually she got some kind of mild virus - bit of a cold & temperature- and they cleared up after that. It was like her immune suddenly woke up.

Wishihadanalgorithm · 26/02/2021 19:21

Wipe some apple cider vinegar over them every other night before bed. This will make them shrink very quickly.

Failing that, my friend took her DD to homeopath as the DD’s spots became infected. Cant remember what she was given but it worked.

My dd had them for well over a year. Horrible things.

We hadn't been taking her swimming although she was desperate to go, but there were so many spots and would have showed. Then there was one hot summer day when all the worst ones were covered by a swimsuit, t-shirt & shorts so we took her to an outdoor paddling pool.

Within 24 hours they all started to dry up. I swear it was the chlorine in the swimming pool water that got to them.

Very interested to find this thread! My ds has just been diagnosed with this however I'm really not sure. The gp said it would be up to a year before they improved. He is not bothered by them at all and only has these on his arm. He has had them for around 6 weeks now and they have not spread like I thought they would.
Thanks

My 5 year old has it all under his arm and on his back and stomach. We bought Moludab off Amazon (about £20) and it has really helped. The spots haven't gone but theyre more like little raised skin coloured marks now as opposed to the big red bumps they were. We are about 4 weeks post treatment and he had it for around 2 months before that. There are a lot less spots now too.
He cried having the stuff put on though it does sting 😔

Mine had them, they just went on their own, I didn’t faff other than where DD2 had them in leg creases that got sore. Probably not a good tip but the immune system needs to know they are there and get rid of the virus. I pinpricked next to the sore ones and they went away.

Dr Google though so may have just got lucky!

Take it you’ve tried molludab?
Ds’s molluscum were my lockdown project last year Grin
We tried apple cider vinegar, tea tree and sudocrem but it was the molludab which finally did the job (along with some careful picking.
I also cured his glue ear with a balloon thing he blew up with his nose!
This lockdown I attempted to de wax dd’s ears but I haven’t been so successful!
