My 2 year old keeps scratching (quite hard) behind his ears in the night, behind ears/above neck. I took him to the gp last week to have his ears checked and they were all fine, he also has no rash there or anything like eczema there. I use fragrance free sensitive washing powder for sheets & pjs. He has done this for ages, the doctor seems to think it's a habit?! Any ideas what could cause this? My mum suggested sweating but it's quite cold in the bedroom and he doesn't seem to be perspiring. My theory is he could be teething as he is a very slow tether and has his last few back teeth to come through
