Low white blood cells

Hi,

My youngest son (16 months) has been back and forth to the hospital recently due to low while blood cells. He originally popped in for a routine rash that didn't fade with a glass but came out being told to shield with while blood cell levels of 0.03. At his most recent bloods they were 0.02.

Theu are looking into several things one of which is leukemia although I have been given any answers yet just been told when to come in for the next lot of bloods.

I've been told that if he catches as much as a cold I need to bring him to A and E to start antibiotics just incase and any illness could make him very ill.

I was just wondering if anyone else has been through similar? How did you cope? I have two other children 6 and 7 and the pm is due to announce is school will go back soon and the thought of this really scares me and they could easily bring something back.

I've tried to hunt for support groups to find people who have gone through similar with no luck so I was wondering if anyone on here had any advice or experience with it?

Thank you 😊
