Baby bogeys!

Hi all - bit of a weird one but my 11mo ALWAYS has a lot of bogeys (every day since she was born) sorry I don't know of another way to describe it, she doesn't really seem congested or snuffly, just always has big bogeys lurking up each nostril. I try to clear it using a mixture of saline spray, nasal aspirator & a fingernail but they seem really stubborn, I can never get it fully clear & it always returns. I asked HV about it over the phone but was dismissed as it wasn't causing breathing issues. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what is causing it? Should I be trying to clear it or just leave her alone? I'm worried now that she's getting really annoyed with my attempts & I don't want to give her a complex! TIA x

What nasal aspirator have you got? The absolute best is the nose Frieda!! I have a thing about them not having clear noses and this is the most effective at clearing it

Yes I have a nose Frida too, it does seem like quite an effective method but I still struggle with LO's bogeys & it seems a bit intrusive to be picking/sucking her nose every single day! I'm wondering why she gets them all the time & if it's something I should be concerned about

They are just not effective at clearing themselves. Obviously can't blow their own noses or pick, so it builds up!
