Purple toes?

DD 7 has 3 purple toes. I noticed them this evening.

She complained of an itchy toe last week and I had been using an over the counter athletes food cream.

But now I am a bit concerned? I will try and contact the GP in the morning but has anyone experienced anything like this. She is fine in herself...

Thanks everyone. GP did not think covid toes... the redness is only on one side of her toes. The culprit seems to be picking at itchy athletes foot and getting an infection... GP even had us in for a face to face appointment to have a good look.

We have a prescription which I hope will clear things up.
