Hi everyone DD is 11 months. We believe she is teething . She is boiling to touch everywhere apart from her hands and feet. She had calprofen at around four and calpol recently. She had a temperature of 38.1 around 7.40 ish. But now our thermometer is saying 36.7 and 37.1 which I don’t believe is accurate as she feels boiling to touch. She has came up in this pin prick type rash. Could this be because she is hot and bothered. Can anyone give me any advice. She has been fine with her food all day. Hasn’t got a cough. Isn’t floppy etc and seems just irritable. She just doesn’t seem to be cooling at all

Thankyou

You could just put her in a vest and see if she cools down.
What is your heating on ?
Give her plenty of fluids.
If she’s eating, drinking and wanting to play she’s probably ok, but if you’re worried give them a ring.

Teething doesn't give them a temperature. She has a temperature so needs to be tested for covid and you need to isolate until it comes back. Keep a close eye on cold hands and feet but hot body; make sure the rash blanches. If she seems to deteriorating get advice immediately. Poor baby - hope she's better soon!
