I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience and it not been anything to worry about.
Around 5 weeks ago I noticed my DD had a bump on her head she is 3 months old happy , healthy & thriving I did mention it to my health visitor who had a look and advised me to contact the gp to have a look at it.
I have since been to the GP and she is referring her for a head scan (can take up to 6 weeks) but said she'll be honest I don't know what it is Hmmbut she doesn't think it's anything to worry about as my DD is thriving and healthy. Has anyone had anything similar? Googling is the worst thing to do I know but I'm left just wondering what it could be

It could be all sorts of things, most of them not particularly concerning. All you can do is take her to get checked out. As she is well and happy, and you are getting it checked out, there's nothing else to do at the moment. If she's less well, or it changes, then let your GP know and they may wish to speed things up.
