Chalky bits on teeth - 10 year old

We last went to the dentist in August and they mentioned that my DS has some chalky bits on his teeth which could make them weaker. He's never needed any dental treatment to date apart from when he fell over and chipped his front tooth 18 months ago. I've noticed today that his teeth look worse (its mainly a couple of incisors at the bottom). I will phone the dentist tomorrow obviously not sure if they will see him at the moment. Think we've got a check up booked for March/April sometime anyway. Dont want to leave it in case it gets worse. Wondering if anyone has had this with an older kid, paranoid about him needing teeth out as this happened to one of his friends. I am attaching a picture.

I've got a couple of teeth that look like that and have done since I was a lot younger - those ones have never caused me any problems!

O that's good to know, maybe it will be ok, fingers crossed.

My sibling had white streaks on teeth apparently caused by too much fluoride in early childhood, in water to make up formula, or swallowing toothpaste.
