Depressed scar

Hello

My lo hit the coffetable with her head 2,5 months ago. She dropped something and wanted to crouch. The wound wasn't bleeding, to be honest there was only one tiny drop of blood. We called our doctor and showed her photo of the wound and she said if it is not bleeding there is no need to go to the hospital. Wound healed after one month but there is still depressed line which bothers me a lot. Please tell me is 2,5 months enough for that injury to completely heal or maybe there is still a chance that after some time it will go up and disappear? If you have some experience with similar situations please tell me because it drives me mad sad

P.S
I cannot add photos yet so there is a link below to show you how it looked one hour after injury and today.

DD has a scar above her lip from where she fell on ice (she split her whole lip open but the lip healed quickly). I was worried it would be very noticeable as she got older. However I found out that scars don’t grow - so as children grow the scars don’t, the scar becomes less obvious. A few years on DD’s scar is barely noticeable.

So yes it sounds/looks like it’s fully healed but left a small scar behind but in time it won’t be as obvious.

It may leave a mark, but it's small as as PP said won't grow with your child.

Lots of people have little marks and scars from various things.

If it is a problem later in life (which I doubt - it's hardly noticeable even now!) it would be very very easy to cover up. But I'm sure that won't be necessary!

Don't worry :).
