My 13 month old daughter has had red rash on cheeks / eczema like rash really since she started weaning. Been to doctors many times and given various creams. Came to a head about a month ago when got terribly red/ inflamed. Creams just weren’t helping.
For a while, I thought that she may have intolerance to some foods, which could be causing the rash.
Last week she ended up vomiting in the afternoon. She had tried scrambled egg for the first time in ages that morning. And it all came back up. Was awful for her.
Miraculously, her rash completely disappeared for a few days, whilst she was off her food. Now she’s eating back to normal ish and it’s come back with a vengeance.
Meal times are awful. She gets so upset. Throws her head back. Writhes around
Just so upsetting
She’s ok if I put things for her to feed herself on her tray.
She had a little bit of an upset stomach tonight.
I just hate seeing her so uncomfortable
Doctors checked her over and said possible infection as glands were up slightly.
Has anyone’s little one had anything similar??
It’s so upsetting and I just want her to be ok. I’ve sent her hair off to be analysed for allergies this weekend.
Any comments / advice would be most appreciated
