Infected welt

Hi has anyone seen anything like this? I'm worried it might be infected.

That is definitely infected - is there a splinter or something in it?

Try soaking it in hot salty water

No splinter in it.
I tried putting hot salt water on it but he just yanks his hand away ( hes only 12 months so cant reason with him)

I called 111 and they have said ring his gp in the morning. I just wanted to check I wasnt being an over paranoid mum
