Hi there I’m very new here so bare with me , I’m a first time mum so I am still getting used to it all as well as constantly worrying about everything. That being said Iv just noticed abit of crusty blood on the inside of my 6 week old sons nose almost like he has had a nose bleed, should I worried?

He probably just caught it with his nail, flailing his hands around. I wouldn't worry. Trim his nails or put scratch mitts on.

Thank you for your response but he has had scratch mitts on all day

It does sound like a scratch - a proper nosebleed would be more obvious. It's hard not to worry when they are that small!

Have you had the heating on a lot? My son gets nosebleeds and the doctor said sometimes if it’s hot and stuffy it can dry the nose up and cause nosebleeds or a bit of bloody snot. If not I agree with pps that maybe he scratched himself.
