Hi all
My daughter is. 12 (she has learning disabilities and attends a specialist school) last night had bad headache and has a temp of 38.8 highest 39 two hours ago
She's been at school but only two children in her class.
Covid test at 9am
However she is complaining of back pain which makes me thing it could be a UTI. Is it worth calling GP?

Yes, does she have any other symptoms like burning, frequency, strong smelling urine? They may request a sample but if so get someone outside your home to drop it off. When you contact them advise them you have a covid test booked for her as you should isolate until the results are through.

It could be worth a call with the doc but also of the 5 people that I've known to have tested positive to Covid, 4 of them complained of aching - esp in the back. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon and she's alright x
