Best treatment for dribble rash?

Hi all,
My 2 year old has a patch under his neck which I think is from dribble and on his cheeks, he wakes himself in the night scratching under his neck. It's not dry and I don't think it's eczema
What is the best cream to use to prevent/treat it? Prefer as natural as possible! Thank you

ETA I absolutely want to avoid hydrocortisone or anything similar, I've used it for 30 years and going through a withdrawal of it

You need to try to keep the moisture away from it and let it air dry which is easier said than done.

It's been a few years but it I remember right we spent a couple of days almost obsessively dabbing her chin dry during the day and changing her bib/muslin cloth and then used sudacrem as a barrier cream overnight when we couldn't dry her off constantly.

As halfshrunk said, keep it dry as much as you can in the day and put a lovely glob of something on it. Coconut oil has the added bonus of reducing friction in my personal experience but sudocrem or vaseline are great. Can you put a t shirt on him at bedtime to stop him getting to it?
