Has anyone got any experience of children with the above?

Our 4 week old was seen by the audiologist today and tests currently showing moderate hearing loss in left ear.... back for more tests in 2 weeks.

Just not sure what to expect, how it will affect her etc

Thanks

Hello,
I hope you've been able to get some answers as it's a while since you posted. For what it's worth, my daughter has had moderate hearing loss in both ears since birth and has worn hearing aids from 8 weeks old. She's now almost 6 and has done really well, her development is on par and she needs no real support in school. She came in to us tonight without her hearing aids shouting I CAN'T HEAR YOU and thought it was hilarious!! Hopefully your little one will be fine, it's amazing how resilient children can be 💖 love and hugs xoxo
