Hi everyone i need your advice on something.
Last week i took my son to hospital because he had a Bulging Fontanelle ( soft spot on head was raised). Has was Covid positive and had fever. The hospital wanted to test for meningitis so the did a Lumbar Puncture where they inserted a needle in to his spine and took out some spinal fluid to test.
For a few days that region was swollen but eventually the swelling went down. This morning when i was changing his nappy i noticed that there is a hard lump on the lower region of his spine. I’m really worried 😟 is this normal? Will it go away after sometime?

I suspect it's probably local inflammation, but equally I wouldn't mess about with the spine and combined with his other health issues you mentioned, I'd seek a professional opinion.
