My little boy waa crskmf by 7 months and walking by 12 , be has always been pretty active but the last few weeks I feel like he is uncontr. He can be a very loving boy and loves being cuddled and sits with me , but usually only when he's tire

He is non stop of all , touches everything, in every cupboard , pulls everything out, opens all doors in house, pulls clothes and shoes out of wardrobe , climbs on everything he can , Including the dining room table (he pulls chair out, climbs on that then onto table )
I'm aware a lot of toddles can be like this but I'm worried it may be something else.

Does he have ADHD? is he over tired ?

He usually sleeps 7pm-5/6am and has 2 hours sleep during the day, although yesterday he didn't he was then up for 3 hours during the night, jumping up and down , shouting 'daddy ' laughing etc

He knows the word 'no' and he puts things back when he is told to , e.g. if he picks up a photo frame he will put it back when told to.

Don't know where I am going wrong , and being exhausted during the day from lack of sleep is not helping

He is loving and funny , but recently he has become a lot more active and hyper than usual

Sounds like a normal toddler, sorry!

Are you walking him every day outside, like a dog? Essential IME.

Sounds like a normal toddler. They never sit still! The only way my little one would sit in one place is her high chair when she's eating or reading a book! Other than that she's a whirlwind!!

Sounds like both my boys.

My eldest is 4 and has mellowed a bit but still
Need a good 4 hours of running around a day!!

Youngest is 2 and is a loooooon

Totally normal in my experience - DS is 16 months too and exactly the same. It's exhausting. Nowhere is safe! He's like it at nursery too apparently (hence why I send him there to get a break!)

Yep, another vote for being normal. It’s just what they are like. My DS needs exercising like a border collie!

Thank you all for reassuring me

Some children are like that. I was lucky that my two dc never climbed but they had their hyper moments.
